1993 Hummer H1 — Overview The 1993 Hummer H1 is the civilian version of the military Humvee (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle - HMMWV), originally designed by AM General for the U.S. military. It became available to the public due to growing interest and demand, especially after gaining fame during the Gulf War. The civilian version was produced from 1992 through 2006 and was the first of what became the Hummer line. AM General built both the H1 and the Humvee in its Mishawaka, Indiana, facility. GM stopped marketing the H1 in the 2006 model year. = This rugged off-road vehicle is built for extreme durability, exceptional ground clearance, and unmatched off-road capability. Unlike traditional SUVs, the H1 is engineered more like a tactical vehicle, prioritising strength and versatility over luxury and speed.
Our car, particularly, was a civilian version, especially made for the Saudi Armed Forces.
