Nostalgia Classic Cars is pleased to present the 1956 Bentley S1.
The Bentley S1 was a luxury car produced by Bentley Motors Limited from 1955 until 1959.
The Bentley 'S1' saloon was first announced in 1955 to replace the successful 'R' type. It was a larger five or six seater saloon with a pressed steel body and aluminium doors, bonnet and boot lid. It featured the straight six-cylinder 4887cc engine from the Bentley Continental and the equivalent model from Rolls Royce was the 'Silver Cloud 1'. Just over 3,500 were produced between 1955 and 1959 and the car was considered a sale success.
Just 563 left-hand drive, standard wheelbase Bentley S1 cars were ever made, chassis B103LDE is understood to have spent the majority of its life in Scandanavia.
We offer this car in stunning grey color and with new light leather upholstery. It underwent restauration work by specialist Healey Bros Ltd. and has 57000 kilometers on the clock.
