Nostalgia Classic Cars is proud to offer you a 1986 BMW M6 coupe, a rare and astonishing masterpiece of German engineering. What makes this BMW M6 stand out from the others is the original Alpina bodykit with matching Alpina rims. Its dark blue paintjob features complementary Alpina graphics as well, which enhance the looks of this shark-nosed BMW even more. Its interior features Recaro bucket seats in perfectly preserved black leather, as well as leather wrapped Alpina three-spoke steering wheel, and it’s retrofitted with a modern autio unit. The 286HP M88 straight-six engine has just 17,544 kilometers on the clock, and is capable of achieving 0-100 km/h in 6s with a top speed of 255 km/h. These numbers were incredible for the era, and are formidable even by today's standards.

Built as the ultimate form of the E24 6-Series, BMW M6 used a modified M88/3 engine sourced from the ill fated BMW M1 supercar, bumping its power output from 272 to 286 horsepower. In a classic GT bodyshell, this engine proved to be of much better use, providing the M6 with face melting acceleration and top speed, which made it second-fastest BMW ever produced. The car was officially named M635CSi, with the M6 nameplate designated for the United States, but in 1989 and 1989, the car was named M6 worldwide.

A total of just 5.859 of these BMW coupes were sold from 1983 to 1989. Limited production numbers make this awe-inspiring car very desirable today, and since there's no substitute for a completely preserved, low-mileage M6 with even more scarce Alpina aftermarket fittings, this fantastic coupe is pride and joy of our showroom.
