Sunbeam Alpine 1962

Details about this Classic Car Sunbeam Alpine 1962

Nostalgia Classic Cars is proud to offer you the Sunbeam Alpine 1962. With manual transmission and 15900 kilometers showing on odometer. The car is in very good condition both mechanically, interior and body.

The outward changes to the Alpine Series II, built between October 1960 and February 1963, were few--full-length steel side window glass channels and an altered steering wheel rake and seat position for more interior comfort--but changes under the bonnet were what counted for sports car aficionados.

The Sunbeam Alpine is a two-seater sports drophead coupé produced by Rooted Group from 1953 to 1955, and then 1959 to 1968. The name was then used on a two-door fastback from 1969 to 1975. The original Alpine was launched in 1953 as the first vehicle from Sunbeam-Talbot to bear the Sunbeam name alone since Rootes Group bought Clément-Talbot and later the moribund Sunbeam from its receiver in 1935.
