Nostalgia Classic Cars proudly presents you Chevrolet’s most expensive and most luxurious sedan of the era, a perfectly restored 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe with 75.926 miles on the clock. In a classic combination of dark grey paintjob, shiny chrome details and with a windshield visor, this sleek American cruiser radiates pre-war elegance and style. The interior features simplistic, yet extensive woodwoork, light grey upholstery and a handful of tiny details that make the car a pleasure to drive, such is the beautiful art deco linear speedometer and a period correct aftermarket Flash-All 999 signal kit.

The first Master models were offered by Chevrolet in 1933, as a replacement to the Chevrolet Eagle. In 1937, a more upscale version by the name of Master Deluxe was introduced, and was marketed as Chevrolets flagship sedan. The Chevrolet Master was built through seven distinct series, and the 1939 model was named JA or JB, depending on whether it was the Master or the luxurious Master Deluxe.

The J Series Chevrolet Master was replaced by K Series models in 1940. In 1941, a Special Deluxe was added to the range. In 1942, the production of civillian vehicles was halted due to World War 2, making the Master Series the final pre-war Chevrolet flagship car. That's why is an honor to preserve this piece of pre-war elegance, and offer it to you at Nostalgia Classic Cars.
