Nostalgia Classic Cars is proud to offer you one of the finest British sports roadsters ever made, a 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 MKII. This restored 2+2 roadster has been painted in a bi-color deep blue on white scheme, an optional extra of the time, with maroon soft top and optional wire wheels. The interior was reupholstered in a matching shade, with dark red carpeting, and features the original three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in black leather. The 2.9L straight-six engine with SU carburetors is mated to a four speed gearbox with overdrive, another factory extra.

Built from 1959 to 1967, Austin-Healey 3000 was the biggest model in the lineup and an evolution of the Austin-Healey 100-6. Among the enthusiasts, this car is best-known as the 'Big Healey', because of its six cylinder engine. That potent powerplant also made it hugely successful in numerous races and rallies of the time, and even today, where it's one of the most popular cars for historic racing. A reason for that was great handling, as well as formidable performance for the era. But, the Austin-Healey 3000 is also a beloved vintage weekend cruiser thanks to its appealing design and British charm.

Throughout its production process, Austin-Healey 3000 had three distinct generations, simply called Mark I, II and III. Austin Healey Mark II was built from 1961 until 1963, and the changes included a carburetor change, roll up windows, more aerodynamic wrap-around windscreen, and vertical-barred front grille.  A total of 5.096 of Mark II 2+2 models were made, and you have the opportunity to be a proud owner of one, so book your appointment at Nostalgia Classic Cars.
