Nostalgia Classic Cars Dubai proudly offers you a startling example of the golden years of American motoring, the 1959 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop. Starting from 1954, Plymouth Belvedere became a standalone model, and its third generation manufactured from 1957 to 1959 was by far the most iconic one, especially due to the fact that Stephen King’s iconic red Christine was a 1958 Belvedere 2-door hardtop. The third generation Belvedere packed a 3.8L inline-six engine as standard, with a wide range of V8 engines starting from 3.9L and finishing with the mighty 5.7L Golden Commando engine with dual 4-barrell carburetors. For 1959, Fury became the top range of this model, while the Belvedere was right under it in the nomenclature.
The 1959 Plymouth Belvedere that graces our showroom is finished in striking orange color which perfectly accentuates its iconic tailfins, rich beltline trim and a beautiful front grille with dual headlamps. This Belvedere also boasts some iconic 50s features such as Continental tire on the rear hood and dual chrome antennas pointing skywards, adding to the undeniable charm of this already magnificent car. The interior boasts a mauve-white color scheme which perfectly contrasts the exterior of the car, and it is in perfect condition. The V8 engine is equipped with push-button three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, a convenient optional extra reserved for eight cylinder models only. This Belvedere is not just an iconic piece of 50s Americana, but a true stunner that’ll attract the looks anywhere, and any time of the day.
